Terms & Conditions: Liability and Assumption of Risk, Photography / Video Policy, Cancellation Policy

​Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your event information and the terms and conditions outlined below. If you have any questions please contact royalfamily@thepalacedancestudio.co.nz prior to your purchase.

LIABILITY RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I/We realise that participation in events organised by The Palace Dance Studio – Home of the Royal Family ( TPDS – HOTRF the event organiser), could result in some possible personal injury. Despite precaution being taken by TPDS – HOTRF (the event organiser), accidents and injuries may occur. By agreeing and signing this release form, either digitally, or by way of purchase, I/We (the dancer / participant / parent / guardian) assume all risks related to the use of any and all spaces/venues/locations used by TPDS – HOTRF (the event organiser)

I/We agree to release from responsibility The Palace Dance Studio – Home of the Royal Family (TPDS – HOTRF the event organiser) including all choreographers, dancers, staff members, and facilities used by the event organiser from any cause of action, claims or demands now and in the future. I/We will not hold The Palace Dance Studio – Home of the Royal Family (TPDS – HOTRF the event organiser), liable for any personal injury including: scrapes, bruises, cuts, sprains, fractures, broken bones, concussions or death or any personal property damage/loss, which may occur on the premises before, during or after the event.

Furthermore, I/We agree to obey the facility rules and take full responsibility for my/our behaviour in addition to any damage I/We may cause to the facilities utilised by The Palace Dance Studio – Home of the Royal Family (TPDS – HOTRF the event organiser) and understand that The Palace Dance Studio – Home of the Royal Family ( TPDS – HOTRF the event organiser) has the right to remove any participant from any or all events without the refund if the participant is disruptive, rude, abusive and/or fails to comply with instructions by staff, event organisers and contracted personnel.

PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEO
- I/We understand that recording of, or at, any event is strictly prohibited.
- I give permission for my/my son/daughter’s photographs/videos to be used for publicity and advertising in The Palace Dance Studio – Home of the Royal family (TPDS – HOTRF the event organiser) in their home studio, on website and social media channels.

REFUNDS
All sales are final and refunds are only allowed in the event of a cancellation (see below). 
Tickets cannot be replaced if they are lost, stolen, or damaged.
From date of purchase, ticket purchases are non-refundable or transferable.

IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED, POSTPONED OR RESCHEDULED
If the event is cancelled no action is required to obtain a refund; we will issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase.

If your event is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved, we will attempt to contact you to update you on the status of the event, please continue to monitor our social media channels for general information. 

We will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a cancelled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved event.

ACCEPTANCE
By submitting the event registration form / completing payment, it is a declaration of my acknowledgement that I fully understand the terms and confirm that I am over 18 years, or if under 18 years, the registration / purchase has been signed by my legal guardian. I agree that this waiver binds my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and successors.
